Company History

Tier One Distribution has a history going back over 22 years. We started our activities in 1999 under the name of VIP Computers Benelux as part of the VIP Group. In 2004 a Spanish sales office was opened, fully dedicated to serve the markets in Southern Europe for the Dutch subsidiary. At the end of 2018 it was decided to split up from the VIP Group and the local management acquired all the shares of the Dutch and Spanish VIP entities. On July 1, 2019, VIP Computers Benelux became an independent company with the new name Tier One Distribution and we celebrated being one of the major suppliers of computer components in Europe for 20 years. 

Tier One Distribution has developed over the years into a major worldwide supplier of computer components of brands like AMD, ASRock, Asus, Intel, Kingston, Lexar, LG, Micron, Microsoft, Samsung, Seagate, Toshiba and Western Digital. 

We are working closely with retail, e-tail, resellers and system builders all over the world to understand their individual needs and strategic business focus by supplying these components out of stock when they need them. 

A proactive team of professional pre-sales, sales and customer service representatives are on hand to recommend products and offer a bespoke service to its partners. Next to that a 24/7 online ordering service is available consisting of full product specifications with real-time pricing and stock availability. 

The website of Tier One Distribution offers a webportal with all the functionality you need to run your business; a new webshop with all product information, stock and custom pricing, tracking of your shipments, download invoices and other tools like the return of faulty products. 

In 2019 Tier One Distribution has implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the new ERP system which allows us to directly connect with ERP systems from our partners which makes sharing information easier and more efficient.
